The book is in very good clean and tidy condition, cloth on on the spine area has sun bleached a little with age, no inscriptions.

The jacket does have some noticeable wear, tear and handling marks, notably along lower spine about 2.5cm edges and a chip from lower spine, other wear around edges and corners, price clipped on inner flap. Not easy to find 1940s with jackets or without a similar amount of wear.
